Welcome to our holiday house in the charming south-west France

A romantic farmhouse set in the tranquil hamlet of Bio, in the upper Dordogne region of Lot in South-West France. An area known as the Midi-Pyrenees. This spacious holiday house is a great base for exploring this beautiful part of France, surrounded by mediaeval towns and chateaux.

The immediate area is rich in beautiful villages. Our holiday cottage, known as a “gite” in France, is near Carrenac, Loubressac and Autoire, three of the most beautiful villages in France. The caves of Padirac are about 15 minutes drive away, as too is the marvellous “Parc Aquatic Padirac”, with its huge lagoon style swimming pool and waterslides, trampolines, climbing frames and café/bar.
Rocamadour, one the most famous historic sites in France, is very near. Martel, home to Templars and knights is less than half an hour away, as is the Roman town of Cahors.

The Bijo gite comprise of two properties, a 3-bedroom house and a 2-bedroom apartment, which can be rented separately or together. Both are completely self-contained with their own facilities and separate entrances.

This newly renovated 300 year old French farmhouse is decorated in the French provincial style giving a perfect backdrop for a holiday retreat in South-West France.

We are just five minutes from the mediaeval town of Gramat with nine restaurants, three supermarkets, a weekly market and a swimming pool.

Unwind and enjoy Bio's delightful village atmosphere, with its friendly inhabitants and magnificent views from the hills.
